Amanda Righetti

Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. Her fame was based on her performance as the special agent Grace Van Pelt on CBS's The Mentalist, a police procedural show. As a Utah local, Righetti had always wanted to perform. As a young girl of just four older, she started dancing. Her first big-screen appearance was the 1995 movie "Love and Happiness". In 1995, as an CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest on the show, Righetti made her screen debut in a small format. The career of Righetti began as a young model. A few years later, she moved into Los Angeles and continued to play small but significant roles before being tapped as the character who recurred Hailey Nichol in Fox's teen drama , 'The O.C.'. Righetti was also a key character in the 2009 slasher film 'Friday the 13th, the Marvel superhero film 'Captain USA: The First Avenger' as well as Fox's soap-opera 'North Shore', and the drama series "Reunion'. From 2008 through in 2015, she appeared as Grace Van Pelt in 'The Mentalist', earning critical praise in her role. Righetti recently portrayed Madeline Kenner on USA Network's sci-fi drama "Colony".
