Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actor who is well-known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also at risk. Linney came from a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. Later she completed a M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City, 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway, earning accolades for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
